The Burschough Archers has a club that welcomes all archers from beginners to experts who would want to join their club. Their shooting site is located on the grounds of Burscough Cricket Club, School lane in Burscough.
Meanwhile, the Burschough Archers have all their own equipment’s needed for competition. To tell you more about the club of Burschough Archers, this team was founded by Dave Fairclough in 2006 with the help of international and Olympic archers Richard and Vlada Priestman. Moreover, the people behind Burschough Archers provide classes during summer season for all ages though you need to have your own equipment with you. It starts with a simple lesson about the basics of archery then as you get pass through their lessons; you will be awarded with a G.N.A.S certificate which means you are already affiliated with the Grand National Archery Society.
If you want to get a session, it is commonly done by appointment preferably during Tuesdays. In addition, from April to September their shooting schedule starts at 6:30 pm while on Sundays 9:30 am.One of the latest activities for Burscough Archers is that they currently offer winter shooting during Tuesdays which started last 4th October 2011. The session usually starts from 8 to 10 pm. winter shooting will end next year of April. Now before you could even start joining, you need to be prepared with your arm guards, pair of gloves to protect yourself from any cuts or lacerations and most importantly you need to have your own bow and set of arrows.
Don’t also forget to buy a stabilizer since this will help you to become more accurate with your shots. You just need to remember that in the sport of archery, the competition is about accuracy and timing. You need to have your body prepared and well-coordinated so that you will ace every shot that you make.
